Meari's Japanese Garden

I attended a retreat a couple weeks ago and worked exclusively on JG.   Here's what it looked like at the start of the retreat:

 My goal was to finish the 6 o'clock branches.  Tada!

I also finished the left and right bridges, the blue border, and started the gold metallic.  Woo Hoo!

The lower right corner ornament is finished!  I was able to move the fabric up two inches... and I can see the bottom!!

I know what you're thinking:  "She *just* posted 10 days ago. What's up with that?!"  I realized I hadn't taken it off the scroll frame since 2013.  So it was time....

Figured out why it's not been off the lap stand. I have to dismantle the entire thing to get the scrolls off!  I probably won't be showing another full photo until I'm finished with the stitching.

Last time, I had finished the lower left corner.  I've moved to the lower right one.  Slow progress, but progress nonetheless.

Haven't worked on this since May 2014. Over the weekend, I had a "mini" finish.  I finished the lower left corner ornament.

In the homestretch...

I'm pretty close to finishing Midnight Watch.  I had to reconfigure the last line of letters to make it 2015 instead of 2009 and to include my initials.

Crusin' right along....

Zipping right along on Midnight Watch.  I'm thrilled that I have the side and top borders done.

The Moon is Shining and The Cat is Singing!

I was able to get a big chunk of stitching out of the way this week.  I'm hoping the rest of it... the border, alphabet and flowers on the left side... goes quickly.  Then I'll pull out JG!

I started this in mid-October.  I don't get to stitch but once a week so it's taking longer than I expected.  I want to "Get It Done".

JAPANESE GARDEN

The second project I'd like to get done this year is Japanese Garden.  I started this at the very end of 2005. ::hangs head in shame::  I really enjoy working on it when I pull it out, but for some reason it's the 'pulling it out' part that makes me drag my feet.  I haven't worked on this since May.
