may day update

It's so hard to believe that today is May 1st! Where is this year going so quickly? (I wish my stitching would catch up!)

This is where I was at the end of March.

This is one of the pieces I brought along on vacation, and I actually did get some stitching done on it. Here is the way it looks today. Can you see my error???

The design is "Stitchers' Resolution" from Heartstring Samplery. I love the colors in this one and am enjoying stitching it. But I realized that I made an error, and I am wondering if it worth fixing, or if I should just carry on.
The row of words in the top row is off by one stitch...it should be one stitch down.
What do you think? Would you change it if it was your piece?

Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress for the month!

  1. Lynda - If you hadn't said anything about there being an error, I never would have noticed it. Even now that I know, it still is unnoticeable. If it were me, I would just leave it alone and continue on. I'm sure no one else would ever know unless you told them. Don't think it is worth the hassle of having to frog.

  2. Lynda, like Dorrie, I didn't any error and even looking for one, I couldn't spot it. If you can live with it, because you know it is there, I wouldn't undo it.

  3. Lynda -- I totally did not notice. Go for it -- it looks wonderful.

Say, when you figure out how to make your stitching catch up with the speedy passage of time, let me know please!

  4. Hi Lynda! I like this pattern, and you've done a lovely job stitching it! I looked hard before I read where the error is and didn't see anything wrong. I think you'll be fine leaving it as it is (and you've probably already made up your mind long ago, but just had to add my two cents! LOL)
