I actually did something!

I know it's a shock, but I actually got some decent stitching in last weekend and I think I finished 3 partial stars and did 2 or 3 complete new stars  AND i even finished part of the border for the next stripe (Though I didn't take a picture of the stripe progress as, let's face it, a line of red is just not all that compelling.).  In all his glory, here is the star field on ByGone Stitching's One Nation flag:

Happy stitching to all and to all a good day!

A little bit of progress

Ok, don't laugh.  I finally made myself sit down and work on my GID piece -- somehow I always find other things to do.  I'm sure you aren't experts in the avoidance of xs projects!

Here we have it -- the completion of the word "Massachusetts" on my flag from ByGone Stitching:

I mean look at the amazing progress -- near the end of March I had only made it to "Massachus" --- You know the last four are the hardest.... not to mention the little bubble at the end of the row and the last 3 inches of the border!

Happy stitching to you all!   May you be more productive than I am!!!!!!

Slug Report

Everyone is just flying along and I have been avoiding my GID project..... apparently like the plague.  It hasn't come to the point that I have chosen to do something silly like dust or sort socks rather than stitch on the flag, but it may come to that.

Since my last update I think I've added a couple stars and I started Connecticut.   As of last week I had made it part way through that second "N" --

It sat there languishing until last night when I forced myself to spend some time (not much mind you) getting to here--

It was actually farther along in the "T" but someone got off a thread...... don't know who that could have been.

And, just for the sake of argument, here is the star field.

I fervently pray that flag-stitching-excitement overcomes me this weekend and I make GREAT progress.

I actually did something!

Minor miracle that it is-- I got some stitching done on my GID project!!!

That's One Nation by By Gone Stitches and currently it has a few more stars and an "O" in Connecticut which it did not previously have.  Yippie!

Small steps, right?  Small steps.
