Hi there!
So...how did everyone do yesterday? I had a blast spending time with my guys, watching the new DVD set my husband got from my son for Christmas. It is the original Batman TV series...and we watched one after another most of the day. POW! BLAM!! SPLAT!! Not only did they have fun...but I got to stitch and so started on BOTH of my projects. I HAD to switch halfway through the day as the Aurora Cabin piece was worked on 16 ct. Aida and the part I chose to start on used SIX strands of floss. It was so thick it made a popping sound every time the needle went through the fabric. My poor fingers were sore after a couple of hours working on it so I switched to The Red Thread. MUCH easier on the old fingers! I'm happy with my progress!!
Go, DJ! Wow, 6 strands on 16 count... that's nuts! You have fun with that. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat start DJ!
ReplyDeleteGood starts there but six threads, my fingers are sore thinking about it!
ReplyDeleteUGH! I detest the Dimensions ones with 5-6 strands at a time. I vowed I'd never do another... but I probably will... : ) It will be pretty, though!
